Talk on Depression for Seniors at NTUC Health AAC

Our recent Mental Health talk at NTUC Health Active Ageing Centre (Whampoa) was a great success! The social workers and counsellors from O'Joy delivered an insightful session on Depression for Seniors, addressing a crucial topic that affects many in our community.

During the talk, 23 seniors learned about the prevalence of depression among seniors in Singapore, how to recognise the signs and symptoms, strategies for prevention, and where and how to seek support.

We’re delighted that 10 seniors signed up for depression screening following the talk. This step is crucial in early detection and management, ensuring our seniors get the care they need.
