Outreach Nov 2019

On 18-20 Nov 2019, O'Joy organised 3 days of public talks as outreach to the Upper Boon Keng neighbourhood, which attracted total of 300 participants.

The speakers presented in both Mandarin and English and the topics this round were:

• Day 1: Traveller's health for seniors 旅游前的准备 by doctors from National Healthcare Group Polyclinics

• Day 2: Useful acupoints for seniors 小穴位大学问 by Traditional Chinese Medicine physicians

• Day 3: Financial health for seniors 乐龄理财有道 by Mr Christopher Tan from MoneyOwl

Our elderly audience demonstrated much interest and had numerous questions to ask throughout the three days. Several seniors feedback that they would like to hear part 2 of the talks.

We are very happy that the public talks are well-received by our elderly audience and look forward to more outreach in the future.

The talks were followed by healthy lunch boxes sponsored by Cargill TSF Asia Pte Ltd, which allowed our elderly audience to interact over lunch.

We are also grateful to our various speakers and guests for volunteering their valuable time, and to our volunteers who helped selflessly in every way to make this outreach a success.
