Outreach June 2019

As part of our Outreach program, O'Joy held a three day public talks for the senior community in Upper Boon Keng. The topics covered were about the infamous three highs - high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes, approached from the western medical, Chinese medicine and psycho-social perspective.

We are grateful to our partner, Tan Tock Seng Hospital Central Health nursing unit, for agreeing to present on high blood pressure and cholesterol on the first two days, and also setting up the health stand for our participants. O'Joy's social worker spoke on prevention and management of the diseases from a psycho-social perspective.

After each day's talk, the participants enjoyed healthy lunch boxes generously sponsored by Cargill TSF Asia Pte Ltd.
