O'Joy Seniors at the Digital for Life Festival

Last Saturday, 37 of O'Joy’s seniors had a wonderful time attending the Digital for Life - Singapore organised by Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore, where they got to explore new digital tools and gain hands-on experience in digital skills. The morning was filled with interactive learning sessions, including activities focused on essential digital safety tips, online payment guides, and an introduction to emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence. Each of these activities highlighted Singapore's broader mission of making digital tools accessible and beneficial for all.

A highlight of the event was a meet-and-greet with Minister Josephine Teo , who engaged warmly with our seniors. Minister Teo’s presence encouraged seniors to stay connected with loved ones and the community through digital platforms. Our seniors were thrilled by this encounter.

The Digital for Life Festival’s commitment to inclusivity aligns closely with O'Joy's goals of reducing digital isolation and empowering seniors. The experience was both educational and enjoyable, demonstrating the possibilities digital knowledge can bring to daily life, enhancing both connectivity and independence for our community members.
